* In the current situation with the corona virus, we would like to assure to all guests who are recovered or vaccinated, that all bookings for the winter season 2021-22 can be canceled free of charge up to one day before arrival if an arrival or stay is due to official measures such as travel warning, positive corona test, K1 quarantine, ... are not possible.

Behavior for our guests

General recommendations that are already known to us generally apply:

Be tested, vaccinated or recovered
Gastronomy in the hotel: a self-test must be carried out under supervision on site every 2 days from the stay that goes beyond the validity of the access test.
Observe the hygiene requirements at the self-service buffet.
Wash and disinfect your hands multible times throughout the day.
Keep a distance from other people.
Be sure to sneeze / cough into the crook of your elbow.

All interiors are equipped with effective ventilation for fresh air.
No maximum number of people in the sauna system.
Regular airing every 15-20 minutes

Security through coronavirus tests of our employees

For our guests from home and abroad, the greatest possibile security is a decisive factor in the items of the coronavirus. The aim is to reduce the risk of infection whe vacationing in Austria as much as possible and to enable a carefree and safe vacation. Our team will be tested regularly for COVID-19. We are allowed to show the "SAFE HOSPITALITY" logo.

Frequently asked questions about Corona

Until when can I cancel my vacation free of charge?

A free cancellation is possible for direct bookings up to 1 week before arrival. Later changes will be charged at 90%. In the event of a cancellation due to Corona (official travel restriction, positive test, K1), the cancellation is free of charge up to 1 day before arrival if you have recovered or have been vaccinated.

What do I need when entering Austria?

For your entry you need a valid 2.5-G proof:

Negative PCR test - not older than 72 hours, children from 12 years of age also need a test.
Complete corona vaccination (attention is reduced to 270 days from December 5th)
Recovering - a survived infection with Sars-Cov-2 entitles to entry from 180 days after recovery. Only valid with proof
When entering Austria, the ninja pass is equivalent to proof within the meaning of the 2.5 G rule. It applies to people who are subject to compulsory school attendance. Provided that all tests of the week are complied with, this also applies to the weekend.
Entrants and return travelers from a high-risk area must register in advance and upload their valid proof. Here you get more informations about it.

Does the 2G rule also apply to children?

Children up to the age of 12 are exempt from the G-proof requirement and therefore do not have to present a test result.
For children and adolescents from 12 years of age of school age, the following applies: The ninja pass (Austria) is equivalent to the 2-G certificate and is therefore also valid as an entry certificate for the restaurant, cinema or cable car.
After completing the ninth school year, young people must also have a 2-G certificate in order to be allowed to enter the 2-G setting.

Which vaccines are valid in Austria?

In Austria the vaccines - Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson and AstraZeneca are approved.
As of January 3rd, 2022, the vaccination certificate for a single vaccination is no longer valid.
From December 6, 2021, the validity of the vaccination certificates will be reduced to 270 days.

Culinary in the Tauernhof

The personal responsibility and behavior of the guests in the restaurant is important!

We take care of the distance to the next table.
Common groups of guests and our serving staff are excluded from the distance. If possible, the distance should be maintained.
To avoid crowds in the buffet area, you can choose from 3 arrival times in the resataurant: 6.30 p.m., 7.15 p.m. and 8.00 p.m.
When we greet you in the restaurant, we forego a warm handshake, but serve you all the more attentively.

Hotel rooms

Our rooms and all sanitary facilities are cleaned with 188 °C steam. A virus loses its chance of survival.

Bed linen

The bed linen is whased by a certified professional laundry in accordance with regulations.

Biker laundry service

Your bike clothes will be washed in a machine for all guests. Our detergent fees laundry from viruses and bacteria to 99.9 % at temperatures as low as 20 °C. Do you want your laundry to be washed separately? Please inquire at reception and have them washed separately for an additional charge.

Critical points

The most important contact points such as doors, handrails, elevator, buttons,... are cleaned at shorter intervals.

Bath and hand towels

They are washed in accordance with WHO guidelines to ensure disinfection.

Gym & leisure rooms

The public areas such as the fitness studio, games room and table tennis / billiards are subject to more intensive cleaning and disinfection intervals. Disinfectants and towels are available in the rooms for personal use so that you can serve yourself before using them. The distance rules also applies here.

Sports- and bike program

Tours

The general rules of conduct and personal responsibility apply
Keep a distance when doing sports and on our group tours.
Group sizes should currently not exceed 10 people (including trainers an tour guides)
We make sure that the tours do not start at the same time and thus we ensure that not too many people meet at the sports camp and the bike rental
We take care of the thorough cleaning and disinfection of the rental equipment (helmets, bike handlebars,..) after each use.
