Due to its positioning in the area of sports, Tauernhof scores also highly as hiking hotel. The hotel is situated in the heart of the Alps and - due to the ideal attitude - is the perfect starting point for countless hiking tours in SalzburgerLand with it's beautiful mountains. Using the Flachau Card, you can take part free of charge in the guided hiking tours of our colleagues of the Flachau Sports and Activity Centre from 1. June until 30 September. During the guided tours, your attention will be drawn to particularities, panoramic highlights and photo points which will makes mountainlovers happy!

Hiking tour with guide

Once a week there is a hiking tour with our in-house sports guides. Let our local guides show you the beautiful nature with mountains and lakes in and around Flachau and experience places and paths that are as good as untouched. During your vacation, you will receive lots of tips from our professional hikers at the regulars' table in the Hotel Tauernhof at lunch time. Should you march or hike on your own and need transport there and back, we will be happy to organize this for you.

Hiking bus:

The Sportwelt bus service also runs daily every 2 hours from end of May until the beginning of October. The service costs Euro 1.00 per person in connection with the Summer Card and takes you back directly to the hiking hotel.
